Q: Do you require teams to stay at predetermined hotels for your tournaments?

A: For your convenience we have partnered with TeamINN to assist with all Lou Berliner Sports Park hotel needs. CPRD Tournaments are not "Stay to Play" events, however outside tournaments may have different "Stay to Play" requirements,  please contact your tournament director for hotel information.


Q: What kind of facilities do you have at Berliner Park?

A: Berliner Park features 31 ball diamonds, 16 fenced diamonds, 15 lighted diamonds, and 11 turf diamonds. Also, each of the 3 turf complexes has a full-service concession stand, permanent restrooms, playground, and t-shirt sales for CRPD specific tournaments. Q: Can I bring grills/BBQs to Berliner Park?

A: Yes. Grills & BBQs must remain outside of the ball diamond complex areas, cannot be left unattended while in use, and must be completely cleared of any charcoals after use. 


Q: Can I bring food into Berliner Park?

A: Yes. Food may be brought into Berliner Park, however, teams are not permitted to have “meal spreads” in the picnic pavilions of the concession areas. Personal coolers are permitted. 


Q: Can I bring my pets to Berliner Park?

A: Yes. Pets must be on a leash or under direct control of their owner and you must properly clean up after them. We ask that pets are kept off of the playing areas of the fields.  Please view Columbus City Code for more information. 


Q: Is overnight parking permitted at Berliner Sports Park?

A: No. Camping and overnight stays are prohibited at Berliner Sports Park and all other City of Columbus parks. Hotel accommodations can be made using MyTeamInn (please visit tournament website for reservation link). Other accommodations can be found at Experience Columbus.


Q: Who do I call in the case of inclement weather for status of games?

A: For CRPD specific events & tournaments, you can call 614-645-7246 (RAIN). For outside organizations, please contact your tournament director. 


Q: Where do I find game schedules and tournament brackets?

A: For CRPD specific events & tournaments, you can visit QuickScores. For outside organizations, please contact your tournament director. 


Q: Is alcohol or smoking permitted in Berliner Park?

A: Alcohol is strictly prohibited. Smoking and tobacco products are prohibited within the spectator and playing areas and in all fenced complexes within the park. Designated smoking areas are available outside of the fenced complexes. For more information please see the Columbus Recreation and Parks Tobacco Free Zone Policy.


Q: Are metal cleats permitted on the turf fields?

A: Metal cleats are permitted on the turf fields, however, they are not permitted on any (baseball/fastpitch) portable pitching mounds/mats. Players must wear molded cleats or turf shoes. 


Q: What are some interesting or exciting things to do in Columbus?
